Jiggered Ceilidh Band were recently asked to play at the Glasgow Science Centre for Strathclyde Fire Brigade's Charity Ball. It was a brilliant event and we were really pleased to be part of it. Jiggered met Fred MacAulay who was hosting the event. And we were sponsored by Westsound Radio for the evening!

Unfortunately, we had to play pretty much as a three-piece. Jenny's caught some bug and spent the night running back and forward to the toilet to puke. The show had to go on though, and thankfully Paul still loved the 75% Jiggered experience!!

Last night it was back to Crutherland Hotel for Jiggered Ceilidh Band. We've played at this venue lots over the years but this was probably the shortest ceilidh we've done there. We were playing for a fundraising event for Teen Challenge, the excellent Christian charity that works to support those with addictions. The evening consisted of a meal, auction, performances from special guests...it was so jam-packed that we never got started till 11pm, instead of 9:30pm! Had a super night though, and lots of money was generated for Teen Challenge.

Last night, Jiggered Ceilidh Band were in Milngavie Town Hall for a joint ceilidh with a few of the local churches. We provided some ceilidh muic, there was a silent auction, fish suppers for everyone (including us!) at the break, and even a wee bit of worship music thrown in!
And a Jiggered "first" too- our client gave us £50 too much by mistake at the end of the night. Thankfully we noticed before leaving and were able to return the extra cash to the (relieved) clients!

Jiggered Ceilidh Band were ceilidhing last night at the Chryston and District Bowling Club. The stage had probably the most glittery backdrop we have played in front of!!
Incidentally, we're booked up for TWO gigs this Hogmanay so if you're looking for a band, I'm afraid we're fully booked.
