If you're looking for a venue that's not far from Glasgow, that's stylish with fantastic food, you should check out The Fenwick Hotel. It's been completely revamped in recent years and now is looking brilliant. The new Mr and Mrs Dolling agreed- that's where they chose for their wedding and of course it was Jiggered Ceilidh Band who provided the entertainment.
The evening kicked off with the cutting of the cake (a massive several-tier masterpiece made by the bride!). Next up was the first dance...Jenny and Susan performed "Ae Fond Kiss" for this and it was lovely!
It was a massive wedding and the crowd were very appreciative of our music- the dance floor was just big enough as there were a lot of guests just sitting enjoying the Jiggered sound. At the break there was an extensive array of buffet goodies. Ewan also spent a while explaining how Twitter works to Jenny #NoMeanFeat
A great night- we wish the happy couple all the best and I hope we'll be back at The Fenwick Hotel soon.

The latest was a ceilidh dinner hosted by SCSN/ASpiH (for those of you who don't know that's the Scottish Clinical Skills Network/Association for Simulated Price in Healthcare). What a great bunch. They had enjoyed a lovely meal followed by a night of ceilidh and casino! Yes, in between dances they were rushing over to the gambling tables before returning to dance away to Jiggered tunes. With well over a decade of ceilidh experience, Jiggered Ceilidh Band are a safe bet for your event!
It was nice to get positive feedback at the end of the night on Twitter and when we spoke to the organiser he uttered the words we always love to hear "We'll be in touch to book up for the next ceilidh!".

Stephen and Clare were marrying at New Lanark Mill Hotel and Jiggered Ceilidh Band were drafted in to provide the music for the evening (Stephen gave us a big "thank you" at the end of the night- all the best to new Mr and Mrs McSorley)! In the large crowd of guests were our friends Ruth and Tom. Ruth was a diehard Jiggered fan back our early days at Strathclyde Uni way back in 2002 and we played at their wedding! So it was lovely to catch up with them both...especially as they await an exciting delivery in the next few weeks...
Highlight of the week for Ewan was getting Justin Timberlake to join him for the best selfie he is ever likely to feature in! Hoping that he also managed to pass on a Jiggered business card in case JT ever needs a ceilidh band in the future!
