The rain was lashing down. Roads were closing because of floods. Umbrellas were up. Puddles were filling. Guests were arriving to Carole’s 70th dripping wet!

But this birthday party, organised by Carole’s daughter Claire, wasn’t a washout! Everyone was happy to be there and dried off over a buffet feast and an evening of ceilidh dancing. A brilliant evening.
