Ceilidh in Crieff

Last Saturday night it was a trip up the road to Crieff Hydro to perform at Jonathan and Kathryn’s wedding.

We kicked off the night with the bride and groom’s first dance request - our rendition of “Growing Old With You” by Restless Road which was swiftly followed by a surprise father-daughter dance to '“Daddy’s Angel” by T Carter Music.

Once the formalities were out the way, it was into full ceilidh mode where we entertained Jonathan, Kathryn and their guests for the rest of the evening. We took a short break for a lovely buffet and a very good pick n mix (we’ve seen a lot - it was up there!).

In one of the stranger things to have happened in our 20+ years of ceilidhing, one of Jonathan and Kathryn's guests stood out to us in particular - and it wasn’t just the tartan trousers! After exchanging some familiar glances, we quickly realised that he'd been to a Jiggered ceilidh before - the night before! Yes, by sheer coincidence, he had attended a conference ceilidh we performed for in Glasgow just 24 hours before. Mental!

All the best, guys!
