Ready to Thai the knot?

Jiggered are well connected, it appears! Andrew and Kaew live in Japan and asked us to play at their wedding celebrations in Broomhall Castle, Menstrie. It turns out that Andrew worked alongside our fiddler, Susan, when they were both fresh-faced engineers!

The new Mr and Mrs Rosa were treating their guests to a real Scottish party. Kaew is from Thailand so many of her friends and family were first time ceilidhers. But the floor was packed all night (my favourite dance was the Dashing White as the shape of the dancefloor meant one trio had to sprint from the top of the hall to meet up with the other set of three!).
